 About the job:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Specialist who lives and breathes Health & Safety and loves taking people on a journey. This role is based in Mt Wellington, Auckland (or Hornby, Christchurch).

In this role, you’ll be an essential part of supporting our frontline, responsible for guiding and mentoring our staff, ensuring the continued improvement and evolution of established health and safety systems and processes.

As a collaborative team player, you’ll enjoy contributing to the development of processes and tools. This is your chance to make a real impact in a supportive and dynamic team!

 To succeed in this role you will:

  • Have a passion for people and their health & safety, along with a strong administrative background
  • Have well developed communication and coaching skills
  • Hold a relevant health and safety qualification, with previous experience in a similar role and will preferably have experience in the water industry
  • Have a passion for working with people and a desire to help lift our safety culture to new heights
  • Be driven to motivate others as you build enduring relationships with people all across Apex Water and our subcontractors, while promoting excellence in health & safety
  • Take ownership of sustainability reporting, ensuring our practices align with environmental goals and regulatory requirements
