We’re looking for a Site Manager or an experienced (Senior / Civil) Site Foreman ready to step up, to join our growing team on projects across the lower South Island. Ideally, you’ll be based in Invercargill or a nearby town, giving you easy access to site.
This is a hands-on role where you won’t be boxed into one function. You’ll be working with a skilled, down-to-earth team that values collaboration, accountability, and doing the job properly.
We’re open to either a 12-month fixed-term contract or a full-time permanent position. The role does require regular travel to site.
The successful applicant will:
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to support successful project delivery.
- Lead and coordinate all site activities, including site establishment, subcontractor management and day-to-day site operations.
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with project designs, specifications and required quality standards.
- Manage health, safety, and environmental performance on site, including leading pre-starts and toolbox meetings.
- Oversee project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and procurement to achieve target margins.
- Manage subcontractor performance, productivity and programme alignment to ensure efficient delivery.
- Administer contracts and variations, with a strong understanding of NZS3910, NZS3916, FIDIC and related contract frameworks.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and communication across all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
