A quiet revolution is underway.

Apex Water Ltd installed MABR (Membrane Aerated Biofilm Reactor) systems at Watercare's Meremere and Raglan wastewater treatment plants and has MABR projects currently underway at a further three locations - Ngaaruawhaia and Rahui-Pōkeka in the Waikato Region of the North Island and in Manapouri at the bottom of the South Island.

These facilities are now using this cutting-edge technology to treat wastewater more efficiently and sustainably. But what makes MABR so special and how is it helping us reduce carbon emissions?
