Protecting our future and inspiring young kiwis through the Wonder Project
Apex Water are now proud supporters of the Wonder Project, a not-for-profit, free programme for schools that inspires young Kiwis with science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM), making a commitment to the future of Aotearoa and the next generation of innovators and change-makers.
Aotearoa is facing a skills and diversity shortfall across science, technology, engineering and mathematics and these professionals are essential to driving major innovations and progress for our motu. So, to protect our future, we need more of them, and Apex is happy to be a part of this journey.
Stand out programmes include the Water Challenge where our young kiwis construct and test a mini model of Aotearoa New Zealand's wai network, exploring the journey of water and how STEM is used to collect, clean, care for one of Earth’s most precious taonga.
